I’m Deva and I’m a Queer doula living and working in Glasgow. I wanted to be a doula as I’m passionate about improving the diversity and accessibility needs for Queer fertility and pregnancy support.

I know many groups of people can feel misunderstood, unrepresented, pigeon-holed or even completely forgotten about when planning their wants and needs with their fertility, pregnancy and birth.

I created Braw Birth because I believe all pregnant people and families deserve to feel confident and assured of the support they are receiving so they can go on to have a dignified, respectful and empowering experience.
