PMSing

I am PMSing really badly just now. It more so affects my mood in the week running up.

3-4 days before my cycle I feel really anxious and no matter what I tell myself of not needing to worry or not being in trouble it doesn’t subside.

The next day, I feel overwhelmingly sad, super low and depressed. It’s never usually for no specific reason but the same things that have been affecting me that month, again take a major blow. Even though I know it’s PMS, it’s still hard to get through the day.

Next comes the physical symptoms of PMS;

My psoriasis flares and bleeds

I overheat at night and struggle to sleep

My joints, particularly my arthritic joints, hurt

I’m more prone to migraines

Bloating and gurgling stomach

Fatigued

Abdominal pain

Nausea

Everything subsides around day 2 of my cycle. Maybe it’s gotten worse or maybe I never paid too much attention before but while awaiting treatment, all my PMS symptoms seem to be worse.

I definitely feel more low about not being pregnant and being denied the opportunity to try.

Does PMS have a connection to how people experience pregnancy?
